In the eternal struggle to build technology smaller and lighter, CompuLab introduces the fit-PC2i. The tiny little box measures just 4 x 4.5 x 1.05 inches and weighs a scant 13 oz. Don’t be fooled by its small size, though; it is first and foremost a viable PC. Based around an Intel Z5xx (1.1 to 2 GHz) processor, the fit adds up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM,  built-in WiFi and space for a 2.5-inch HDD. Connections include four USB 2.0 ports, 2 gigabit Ethernet ports, S/PDIF and, sorely, DVI taking up real estate that should be reserved for HDMI. It supports 1080p video playback, includes an IR receiver and runs Windows 7. And we’re pretty sure it would look nice seated underneath your 55-inch HDTV. CompuLab claims a 96 percent efficiency boost

over the standard desktop (whatever the hell that is). It’s so efficient, in fact, that it doesn’t even require a fan, so you’ll barely hear a peep as you enjoy your multimedia. Before you rush to pen it into your Christmas list, note that it won’t be available until January. Prices will start at $245.
