Today is Apple’s WWDC conference, and they are unleashing an avalanche of Apple, Mac, iPhone, and iTunes news. So far, they haven’t failed to awe the audience. On the iTunes side though, the most interesting thing announced so far is the ability to rent and purchase movies via the iPhone’s iTunes store . While you can already purchase or rent movies in the PC and Mac versions of iTunes, the ability to do so via iPhone was not previously available. Today, Apple announced the

addition along with their iPhone 3.0 OS news. In addition, audiobooks are now available for purchase via the iPhone, as well as integration with iTunes U, which is a project to distribute educational and university content and lectures.
